I believe in simple things that are well-made.

No fuss, no distractions from the material, just the form an object actually needs. To me, design is reduction, not as a trend, but because every unnecessary detail pulls attention away from what matters.

Every piece of chapter is handmade in Zurich from material that ages gracefully. Scratches, patina, and small marks of time aren't flaws to me. They're proof that an object has lived.

Taste changes. What you love today might not speak to you in ten years. That's normal and, to me, no reason to throw something away. In fact, it's a reason to pass it on. Someone else might find exactly what you've grown out of. It simply moves on to a new chapter.

That's why every product has a number indicating its edition. Edition 01 is a nightstand. What comes next will reveal itself. The idea stays the same, though: a few pieces made with care. They're built to last, for as long as you need them. And beyond.
